(Commons And Nature Till XXI century: Ideas, Conceptualization, Uses, Steps)

History of CANTICUS is a research team which studies the mankind’s role in environment in all its different and antithetical shapes starting from XVIII century: exploitation and protection, destruction and safeguard. The team joins some researchers belonging to the University of Perugia and skilled in history of political thought, history of ideas and material and economic history.  They aim at using their competences to study the past in a diachronic, comparative and multidisciplinary perspective to obtain a better knowledge of cultural,  social and economic factors involved in environmental governance.
